As part of my work imagining new futures for dance education,

and as part of my doctoral program in Developmental Psychology at the CUNY Graduate Center,

I am conducting a research study;

Motivations and Values Across Dance Genres and Generations. 

 

The project explores how different styles of dance in the United States impact expert practitioners’ experiences of motivation, interoception, empathy, and ecological awareness.
